I am the wife of a 20-year Army Veteran, a mother, grandmother and a dog mom to Prince Louie.

Don't tell the rest of my family that I said it, but I think I fall more in love with Louie daily. He is just perfect, and he loves me perfectly!

My faith is strong and firmly believe that life flows from the thought life.

I often hear the phrase, people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

I hope that you will care that I have quite a few letters behind my name, and I will likely be adding more. But wait, let me explain...I don't add the letters to brag about them, I add them because while I am a lighthearted, fun person, I take your well-being seriously and I work hard to be good at what I do so that I can provide the best service in a competent manner.

I vividly remember one of the darkest seasons in my life. I was thrust back into single parenthood for the second time in my life following a devastating divorce. I had one small child and one older child. I found myself in a deeply depressed state. Well, that didn't lead me to start LMP, but my first encounter with my then therapist did.

It was many years ago, but I can still see my therapist's face. She didn't look like me at all. In fact, she was a short, older lady, which in appearance, made her my complete opposite. More importantly than remembering her physical attributes is the memory of how she made me feel when I went into session. I was fragile, broken, unable to speak clearly because of a continuous string of audible sobs. She listened intently, nonjudgmentally, created a safe space for me, reassured and affirmed me. She made a difference and with her assistance, and affirmation of my own strengths, I moved from that dark place back into the light that I once knew. She helped me find the light on my pathway again.
